BUSINESS BRANDING & MODELING PHOTOGRAPHY — TERMS & SAFETY DISCLAIMER
By booking with Jennifer Main / Jennifer Main Photography, you agree to the following terms and the package details provided at the time of booking.
Please read these terms before completing your booking and payment. If you have any questions or require different arrangements, please contact me before booking and await a response.
SESSION RATES, BOOKING & PAYMENT
Session fees are charged at the agreed hourly rate for the booked duration. Your session is confirmed once your booking form has been completed and any required deposit has been received.
The remaining balance must be paid in cash on the day, before your photography session begins.
If you wish to extend your session beyond the agreed finishing time, additional time is subject to availability and charged at $450 per hour, calculated proportionally for the additional time required. For example, an additional 30 minutes is $225.
Any extension and its cost must be agreed upon and paid in cash before the additional photography time begins.
Your package inclusions, image quantities and any other additional charges will be confirmed before booking.
PROOFING GALLERY & IMAGE SELECTION
A proofing gallery will be provided so you can choose your favourite images for professional editing.
Proof images are unfinished previews supplied for selection only. They must not be downloaded, screenshot, published or used for business or promotional purposes.
I will select suitable photographs for the proofing gallery. Test images, duplicates, missed-focus images and other unsuitable photographs are not included.
Your package determines the number of final edited images supplied. Additional images may be available to purchase.
Please check your selections carefully before confirming them. Changes requested after editing begins may attract an additional fee, which will be discussed with you first.
SESSION PLANNING & PREPARATION
As per booking form, Please provide details of your business, brand or modelling goals, intended image use, location, number of participants and any particular photographs you require.
Please discuss any website layouts, advertising formats, agency requirements or publication deadlines with me before booking so I can confirm whether these can be accommodated.
Clients are responsible for arriving with clothing, grooming, hair, makeup, products and props ready for photography. Hair, makeup, styling, venue hire and other external services are not included.
Outfit changes, styling adjustments and movement between locations form part of your booked session time.
PHOTOGRAPHY CONSENT & PARTICIPANTS
Each adult participant must consent to being photographed. A booking made on behalf of a business does not replace the individual consent of staff, models or other participants.
The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring participants understand the purpose of the session and the intended use of their images.
For business advertising or promotional use, the client is responsible for arranging appropriate permission from the people pictured.
LOCATIONS & PERMISSIONS
Locations must be agreed upon before the session.
For client-arranged premises, the client is responsible for obtaining permission for photography and advising me of access restrictions, workplace hazards or site requirements.
Any required permits, location fees or venue charges will be discussed beforehand,
SESSION SAFETY & COMFORT
I will take reasonable care to provide a safe, respectful and enjoyable photography experience.
Participants must take complete responsibility and care of their own safety, and advise me if any pose, movement or location feels uncomfortable or unsafe. You may decline a pose or request a break at any time.
Outdoor locations may include uneven ground, sand, water, wildlife, changing weather and other natural hazards. Workplace locations may include equipment, vehicles, cables or other site-specific hazards.
Please advise me beforehand of accessibility requirements, injuries, allergies or other relevant considerations. You only need to share information necessary to help plan a suitable session.
Clients remain responsible for supervising their children and controlling their pets.
CHILDREN & PETS
Please advise me before booking if children or pets will participate.
Parents and legal guardians must supervise children throughout the session. Pet owners must maintain control of their pets and bring a suitable lead, water and any other necessary supplies.
Please let me know beforehand if your pet is nervous, reactive or requires particular handling.
SESSION & PACKAGE DETAILS
Your session includes the photography time and number of edited images or full gallery as stated specified in your chosen package.
Please confirm the number of people, outfits, products and locations required before booking. Additional participants or requests may require a longer session and an agreed additional fee.
I will work towards your agreed brief, although particular expressions, poses or exact recreations of reference photographs cannot be guaranteed.
Photography services do not include a guarantee of modelling representation, employment, sales or other business outcomes.
PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE & RETOUCHING
By booking, you acknowledge that you have viewed my work and are familiar with my photography and editing style.
Branding and modelling sessions combine relaxed direction with posed portraits and relevant lifestyle or business imagery, according to the agreed brief.
Standard editing may include colour, exposure, contrast, cropping, minor skin retouching and the removal of small distractions where appropriate.
Please discuss any specific retouching preferences before editing begins, including features you would like preserved.
Extensive skin retouching, body reshaping, clothing alterations, background replacement, complex object removal or other substantial changes are not included unless agreed. These requests may attract additional fees and may not always be possible.
Creative decisions will be guided by the agreed brief and my photographic style. This does not affect your rights if the supplied work does not meet our agreement or applicable consumer guarantees.
IMAGE DELIVERY & TURNAROUND
Your selected, professionally edited images will be supplied as high-resolution JPG files through an online gallery sent to your nominated email address. Please check your spam folder.
The approximate editing turnaround is 2–3 weeks after I receive your final image selections and full payment, or earlier where possible.
Please discuss urgent deadlines before booking. If an unexpected delay occurs, I will contact you with an updated estimate.
Always use the gallery download option to obtain your full-resolution images. Screenshots and images saved from your screen will reduce image quality.
RAW files and other unfinished files are not supplied. Proof images remain available for selection only.
COPYRIGHT & PERMITTED IMAGE USE
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, copyright in the photographs remains with Jennifer Main Photography.
Once full payment has been received, you receive a non-exclusive, ongoing, worldwide licence to use your purchased final images for the following purposes:
You may provide the images to your designer, printer, marketing provider or modelling agency for these permitted purposes.
Please discuss third-party brand campaigns, exclusive usage or other licensing requirements before booking. Permission from people depicted must also cover the intended use.
IMAGE ALTERATION & DESIGN USE
Resizing and reasonable cropping to suit websites, social media, comp cards and printed layouts are permitted, provided the subject is not distorted. Text and logos may be added as part of your business or portfolio design.
Filters, colour changes, additional retouching, body or facial alterations, and AI modifications require prior written permission.
Please contact me if you need a different crop or adjustment so the image remains suitable for its intended use.
MODEL RELEASE / PHOTOGRAPHER PORTFOLIO USE
Please select your preference on the booking form. Permission for my promotional use is optional and separate from your permission to be photographed.
If you select YES, selected images may be used on the Jennifer Main Photography website, photography social media pages, portfolio and promotional materials, subject to consent from the identifiable people pictured.
Names, business names, account tags or other identifying details will not be added without separate permission. Please note that faces, uniforms, logos and locations within an image may identify you or your business.
If you select NO, identifiable images will not be used in my public portfolio or promotional materials. Images that do not identify you, your business or other participants may be used.
If you prefer no use of any images whatsoever, please state this on your booking form so I can record your preference.
WEATHER
Outdoor sessions may need to be rescheduled because of rain, storms, strong winds, extreme heat or other unsuitable or unsafe conditions.
Weather decisions may be made close to the session time because local conditions can change quickly.
If I determine that the session cannot safely or suitably proceed, you will be offered another available date or a full refund for the cancelled session.
LATE ARRIVALS
Please arrive ready to begin at the agreed time.
Late arrival may reduce your available photography time, as the session may still need to finish at its scheduled time. This may affect the number and variety of images captured.
Additional time is subject to availability and charged at $450 per hour, calculated proportionally, as outlined in the payment terms above.
CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
For cancellations, missed appointments, your deposit is non refundable to cover reasonable losses caused by the cancellation.
Requests to transfer a booking to another date are subject to availability. Any proposed costs will be explained and agreed before confirming the change.
BACKUP & STORAGE
Please download your final images before the expiry date stated in your gallery email. Galleries are generally available for 7 days, unless otherwise advised.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
If an unexpected event prevents me from attending or completing your session, I will contact you as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling or a refund for services that cannot be supplied.
