PRESCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION TERMS & DISCLAIMER

By proceeding with our photography service, the client (parent/carer) agrees to the following terms set by Jennifer Main / Jennifer Main Photography.

If you do not agree with any of these terms, please notify us via email before your session and await a response before booking. By proceeding with our service you confirm acceptance of all terms outlined below.

PHOTOGRAPHY CONSENT

The parent/carer gives permission for their child(ren) to be photographed by Jennifer Main / Jennifer Main Photography.

IMAGE DELIVERY

Images are delivered digitally via a private password protected online gallery

⚠️ Do not screenshot or save directly from your phone, as this will reduce image quality. Always use the download option provided for full-resolution images.

MODEL RELEASE (PORTFOLIO USE)

Please select on your booking form - If selected yes, Thank you for helping my business grow - Images from your session may be used in Jennifer Main’s photography portfolio, including (but not limited to) website, photography social media, and my photography promotional materials.

Please note: 🛑 For privacy, No names or schools will be shared with any images used in my portfolios.

If you have selected No - then no images will be used in my photography portfolios.

SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

All care will be taken to ensure a safe photography experience. However, Jennifer Main / Jennifer Main Photography is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or incidents involving clients, children, or any attendees during the session.

The centre / Parents and carers are fully responsible for their children’s safety and supervision at all times.

PAYMENT TERMS

The booking process involves completion of the form and full payment.

📌 Sessions will not proceed without full payment on the day.

PHOTO SESSION & PACKAGE DETAILS

Please refer to the available packages on the booking form. If you have any questions or special requests, please leave a message on the booking form or contact me directly.

SICK

Please notify us as soon as possible if your child is unwell and won’t be in your centre for the scheduled photo day. I can arrange for the possibility to reschedule on another photo day, or may result in cancellation and refund.

BAD WEATHER

In the case of bad weather, photo day will be an undercover area of the centre or potentially rescheduled if necessary - and you will be notified by email.

GROUP CLASS PHOTO

The Group class photo is not an individual portrait print. It is One A4 GROUP CLASS PHOTO PRINT — featuring individual shoulder height photos of each child arranged together in a class layout, and this group class layout is a print only not a digital. The image used is from your chosen package.

It is a small portrait and shoulder height place on a layout amongst the whole class. If you would like an individual portrait, please refer to my available packages.

PHOTO PRINTS

Photos are supplied on an uncut A4 premium photo paper sheet. I select the the best portrait of your child and place it throughout the a4 sheet in various sizes. Please note: if you split one package with siblings, the image supplied on the photo sheet is the sibling image on all sheets as per your chosen package. If you would like individual sheets as well, please purchase the Add on F for additional sheets.

IMAGE SUPPLY TIMELINE

Images are edited and delivered in the order that bookings are paid - so the earlier you book, the sooner you’ll receive your digital gallery.
Photo prints are supplied after all digital galleries for the centre have been delivered.
Galleries are sent progressively, from just a few days up to 4-8 weeks after the final photo day, depending on the size of your preschool.

Larger centres of 80+children are closer to the 8 weeks approx.

All lead time dates are estimated dates only, the date may vary earlier or later depending on the amount of students in your centre or other factors outside of my control.

Delivering your gallery is my top priority, I do all the work myself and do not outsource.
Printed photos are delivered approximately 2 weeks after all digital galleries are complete.

These time frames are a general guide only - many galleries are delivered earlier than expected.

POSES/SMILES

Not every child feels like smiling for the camera - and that's completely okay! I never pressure children to pose or smile, or sit in one spot if they do not want to!

I use a patient, playful and gentle approach, sometimes giving them a little break if they are very shy or not interested and returning to them later during the morning session when they’re feeling more comfortable.

I use little games and silly interactions to help bring out genuine expressions.

Sometimes the quiet, thoughtful or cheeky moments are just as special as smiling ones.

The goal is to capture your child as they are - naturally and authentically, documenting their playful preschool years.

IMAGE FINISH & BACKGROUNDS

I mostly capture natural images and keep the original setting and feel of the photograph. I may remove distracting elements from the background, remove stains from clothing or clean up dirty faces, all to create a cleaner, more polished image.

For some photographs, (& only in extreme situations where I don't have options to create a nice background in the centre yard), I may add subtle fine-art enhancements or a carefully selected background composite where they suit the image.

My aim is always to keep the final result natural to the moment, however sometimes I am unable to control what is in the background of your image, if I supply a natural background and you are unhappy with this, I can offer digital backgrounds for a small fee.

IMAGES/ OTHER

Always download images, never screenshot from your device or you will lose image quality.

All images are professionally edited by Jennifer Main Photography. RAW (unedited) files are not supplied.

Clients and third parties do not have permission to alter, filter, crop, or otherwise modify the images in any way.

Altering images misrepresents the photographer’s work and damages the integrity of our style and reputation.
